I'm thinking of visiting India (Delhi, Jaipur, Jaisalmer) in August. I hear that it's the monsoon season. Regardless, is it an okay time to visit India? What weather can I expect? Thanks!!!

To be honest, the reason I'd pick August is because the flights seem to be cheapest during that month...

  1. Though you can expect rain in August, it will not be severe and it may not rain all the days in August.  Climate wise it will not be either hot or cold in August.  While the months of October and November will be most ideal for visit to these places, if you have no other choice, August will be okey.

  2. eehhh maybe not the best time to visit. you're right, it is monsoon season which means it is EXTREMELY hot, rainy, and HUMID!!!!! the best month to visit india (in my opinion) is november bc it is much cooler and nice and the tickets around that time arent too bad.

  3. Monsoon start from June end but yes you can see some rainfall in Aug but not a heavy rain fall infect this time wheaher is pleasant ... you can visit India for more info you can visit holiday club india .net

  4. Yeah, August is monsoon time so you can expect Delhi to be humid, but Jaipur and Jaisalmer should not be inconvenient at all during August. Have a good visit :)
