Is Australia a fun place to visit?

absolutely, there is so much to see and do there, you will really enjoy it

Depends what you're interests are. If you are only interested in nightclubbing, sun baking, and visiting theme parks, the Gold Coast is the place to go. But if you are culturally aware of the Aboriginal society, Central Northern Territory is the place to visit. If you are a sight-seeing person, Tasmania has the worlds most beautiful forests, and Uluru and Katajuta are not to be missed. don't think that Australia is a small country though. When the Europeans came, they assumed they would live in sydney and just drive to Alice springs for afternoon tea. Well, they could, but it would take them weeks of driving. Not even Tasmania is that tiny. Went there for two weeks, and still didn't get to see everything we wanted to

I really liked it. I was in Brisbane in May (autumn). Very nice place, it reminded me of a cross between Southern California and Florida. The beach and Ocean at Surfer's Paradise (about an hour south of Brisbane) are fantastic! (and I have seen quite a few from Florida to California to Hawaii . . .)
