  1. Australia would be a great place for a wild life biologist because we have so many unique animals - I guess you would know about our egg laying mammals (monotremes) as well as our marsupials.  We also have a slightly higher standard of living than the USA as well as (I think) a better lifestyle/quality of life.  Our dollar is edging closer to yours - $AUS 1 buys around 92 US cents this week.  In order to migrate here you have to 'pass' - we have a points system - points for how much money you have, points for how highly educated you are and points if you have skills that we are short of right now (eg. mining industry, nurses, some trades).

I am not sure if we are short of wild life biologists.  Good luck with your plans!

  2. Well Australia is a massive country with tons of wilderlife and wilderness.  It has hot tropical areas in the north, huge deserts in the centre, snow capped mountains in the south-east, and beautiful beaches all around.  So ofcourse there is a large variety of different wildlife living in these very different conditions.  I think it would be a great place to live if you enjoy nature.
