Is Australia racist towards blacks? Would like to travel there!?

Hi,

I know this question has been asked on these forums quite a bit! I am thinking of travelling to Australia, I heard it is really nice, but I also heard they are pretty racist. I am black (African Canadian descent).

I dont want to move there, just travel there for a week or two to the main attractions. Is this a good idea? I heard Australians are racist toward alot of asians and muslims, not sure what to believe.

Yes it exists, Ive experinced it so many times. You walk into a restaurant and its all eyes on you. I find this strange. People even gossip about you in your face. Shocking indeed. Best sollution is just to do your own thing and not focus on all these things.
