Yes. I love it. If I ever have another little girl I would name her Ayla. My daughter is named Lily Rose. Ayla Lily or Ayla Rose would be nice. Or how about:

Ayla is a pretty name!  It reminds me of that one American Idol contestant...I forgot her last name, but her first name was Ayla.  

Middle name?  I don't know.  But just make sure it doesn't start or end with an A...imagine Ayla Kayla, Ayla Abigail, or Ayla Maria...yuck.

I think it is a nice name but at first I read it as A Lie A not the spelling but the pronouncation. A good milldle name would be sarah.

Yes, it's pretty. It fits well with the current trend: two-syllable girls' names that end in an "uh" sound. It reminds me of Ava, Leila, Ella, Jayla and lots of other names that've been increasing in popularity over the last few years. I think Ayla is a nice less common alternative to those names.

Great Girl Name!! Do say it many times with the middle name you pick. My daughter's name is Ayla Leona (Leona after her great grandmother). Say it out your back door as if you're calling her in for supper. Say it harshly as if she's just done something naughty. The post about Ayla Lilly sounds like a mouthful. Make sure people know her name is not Mykayla. If your last name begins with an S...don't make her middle initial an S or your daughter would be an A.S.S.  Good luck. You will never know if you made the right name combination until after the ink is dry on the birth certificate. This is a positively delightful name, but please pretend you are a mean little kid and try to make nasty things out of her name, for her sake. The only thing I've found since her birth is that someone may call her "Alien". But really, that's not so bad. Ayla is a pretty perfect name. Again, good luck...god bless you and your darling girl.

If it's pronounced the way I think it is then I think you should be careful, considering that is how Muslims pronounce there God (Allah), and they might be offended. However if it's the other way it's quite pretty. How about:
