  1. ok to the dude above me obviously you never really skated. no deck or any skateboard part lasts 5 years if you do any tricks. if you any good the at best a deck will last maybe 5 months.

a 20$ skateboard from a sporting goods store will be weak, heavy, and lose pop very fast.

although if ur just ollieing for now it would be fine to learn on but once you start flip tricks or ollieing 5 stairs or higher you should look into real skateboard companies.

you can go down to a local skate shop and buy a blank deck for 15$ or so and it would be as good as a pro deck for 1/4 the cost.

cheap parts you buy em for 1/3 the cost... you get 1/3 the performance and 1/3 the durability.  there are still good parts for a somewhat cheap price at a local skate shop that will work much better.

if ur serious about skating then invest a couple extra bucks. trust me the last thing you want is a cheap skateboard to snap in half rite before you try to ollie a 9 set or something.

  2. i used to skate for 5 years and my favorite board was my bc blank board.. 7.5 its not bad at all, its just cheaper because bc made it , bc is a sporting goods store like zumies... they sell brand name boards but they make there own, theres nothing wrong with it, mine lasted until i quit
