Is BG Furniture Co. a ligitimate company and where is it located?

I have a job offer to work for BG Furniture in the UK for work in the states. I tried to look up this company on the web and did not find them. Is this a ligitimate company?

I had asked for company overview with the application.  I wanted to get more information and report it. However, I believe it is a scam.

I feel that it is a scam, so I am not going to apply or give them any of my personal information.  If I were you and I have a strange feeling, I would do the same.

I have received this same email...the re line says..."re:****Your application for Position****" just like that.  It wasn't a forward from someone that I had sent an email to, but just the other day I put a ton of online applications in so I'm not sure whether to believe if it a scam or not.  I have requested for the employement form as they have said to do, I received it and it looks half way legit...ask just your normal information as any employer would....name, address, phone, email, age, marital status, current monthly income....and then at the bottom there is an "attestation" part stating that you are now going to become employed with them and that you promise to contact them if you want to discontinue the job, as well as say that you agree to making $3200 a month....I mean come on....what stay at home mom WOULDN'T?  Anyways, if anyone has gotten this email and gotten further than this, please let me know!  Seems too good to be true! Thanks for all with answers.

I got the same thing too. It is the above stated Scotland address. I sent back the form and was told that I was hired. I am not sure if it is real or not. I am just hoping they will send some money out before they make me try to work. I am not working for free!

How did you get this job offer ?  Did it come by e-mail ?  Did it come from a proper employment agency ?  Is the contact number a mobile phone ?  Is their email address @yahoo or @ hotmail or some other free email account ?

This is probably a scam ?
