Given the very close proximity of the Bahamas to the United States they do have several bilateral agreements with the United States that makes them very intertwined with the United States.  Such as their cooperation with the United States IRS and joint maritime patrol agreements. But no they are not a part of the United States.  The Bahamian people have passports in their own name- in other words and not the United States.
