  1. He aint fooling me.  And he has about a 10% chance at winning this election.

  2. Sounds like the American duo at Anfield has taken a leaf out from Obama, re: political rhetoric and media manipulation.

  3. It is called white latte liberal guilt and mindless black monolithic voters.

  4. Only some of the people. and those are the ones that are voting on party lines. not the people

  5. Its due to his skill and his platform.

  6. No, what has the media done? I think if anything it's just shown that people believe in Obama, because even Artist are making song that support him. Different from the normal s*x, drugs, party, girls, money songs now a days. So I think if anything having common sense [even if you are republican] Obama is just better.

  7. Much of his popularity is due to the fact that many American are unhappy with the direction the US has been heading over the past 7 years.

  8. political rhetoric: it is irrelevant and because he is a good speaker doesnt mean that his intentions are not good. if anything his speeches show amazing insight and judgement. Since when linguistic competence  is a minus?  I don't want another Bush

media manipulation: all that the media has done in the States is questioning Obama as if he is the only candidate. Msc Cain keeps getting a free ride. The fact that Obama has been able to impress some of the news people is a testimony to how  extraordinary he is.

popularity: In his case popularity has been increasing cause his honesty and passion when he talks touches people and his ideals are high and woth pursuing.

It is ok to dream of something better.

  9. His speech was inspirational.

    His charismatic....

  10. LOL I think he has hired Touzours as his personal PR for Yahoo Answers.

    jk Touz, jk :p

  11. maybe, but he is bringing something new to the table. he wants to talk with the enemies of the west and he actually wants to do something about healthcare for the poor in the us. he should be given the chance.

  12. All presidential candidates are fooling people.  Its just that republicans believe that ONLY the democratic candidate is fooling people while democrats believe the republican candidate is fooling people.

You know, McCain and Obama can talk all they want about taxes or whatever, but anyone even slightly educated in US government knows thats just talk and nothing more, because most of the things they talk about fall under the powers of the legislative branch, not the executive branch.

Thats what p*sses me off about most people, they say things like "well I'm not gonna vote for this guy because he's gonna raise taxes!!"  or "I'm gonna vote for this guy because he's gonna bring the troops home!!"

Yeah.....both of those fall under the powers congress.  The president can only suggest them.

  13. That would be an affirmative!  He is quite the manipulator.
