Now that he's the Top Contender there is and will be all kinds of republican propaganda floating around to discredit his image. It's called "dirty politics" and that is the issue here.  The Reps, when they feel threatened, AS NOW,  are most consistent about doing this...i.e., The Willie Horton thing on Mike Dukakis  and the Vietnam Vets against John Kerry.  The popular term for this behavior is called "Swift boating."
