Because he thinks it'll mess up his image; he should be proud because terrorsts just say they're Muslims to mess up their image. Islam is VERY STRICT about killing. Also, Islam is the most peacefullest religion.

Well if it weren't true, of course you would be offended... especially if you follow another faith.

I'm not sure I'd use the word embarrased, but I believe both he and his wife Michelle are offended by their portrayal as anything other than what they have said they are.

If you check out the source below, the New Yorker has offended them both by portraying Barack as a Muslim...and they're certainly not happy.
