Is Barbizon Real or is it a scam?

I just got selected to go to the Barbizon acting/modeling school. But I dont know if it is real or not. It sounds like a scam because they want you to pay $2000. But I dont know. What do you guys think. I really want to act so do you have any suggestions to what I should do to start my acting career?

if it's so expensive then its probably real cause why would they charge so much?

It is definitely not a scam.  I am a graduate of Barbizon and it was well worth it.  You have to pay for any classes you take whether it's jazz, dance, gymnastics, art or whatever.  They are not going to be for Free.  People think just because you have to pay for Barbizon it's a scam.  I learned a lot about the modeling and acting industry as well as other stuff.  I wouldn't give up your dream.
