Is Beirut safe now for tourism?

I got a good package for Beirut, but all my friends are warning me and saying that Lebanon is on some kind civil war and it’s totally not safe.

So please tell me, is this war affecting Beirut?

And is it safe now for me to travel there?

Lebanon is full of tourists, there are tourists nowadays in Leb more than there are Lebanese

its great there! there are only minor problems in tripoli atleast 100km away frm beirut and anywhere u would go!
