My views on cousins- he is a great footballer- he wouldnt have won a brownlow if he was would he?

personally he is a tool for doing drugs.

The problem is he is a high profile sports star and what he says and does in his actions is gloried to his fans the next thing is kids will think doing drugs as a sports player is a good thing to do. Frankly if he cant handle the responsibility and prestige that comes with being an AFL player than he should not be in the limelight. It is his concious decision to play at the highest level and to take the match payments that put him in the public spotlight if he cant handle it then perhaps he should get a normal 9-5 job and leave footy behind him.

The kids and how his actions effect them is far more inportant than the money that he gets for playing or the titles a team may get by having him in the team- the afl have recognised this by suspending him for a season. With some luck he will clean up and be back to become a rolemodel once again, not just another washed up drug ******* afl player.

OK, so he liked snorting a bit of whippa - big deal, who cares? As for the "role model" argument - when did he sign up to be a role model for Australia's youth? He didn't, he signed on to play footy!!!!

Classic example of the "Tall poppy syndrome" - there's journalists & cops out there that have targetted him BIG TIME. Pity there wasn't mandatory drug testing for journalists, police & politicians.
