Is Big W able to re-issue a receipt that i've lost?

Question

I bought a convection microwave from Big W 6 months ago and the darn thing is now giving off sparks. I've got all the warranty cards, manual and even the box, but I've turned the house upside down and can't find the receipt. Does anyone know if Big W is able to re-issue a receipt? I even know the exact date I bought it as I filled out the warranty card. Thanks

umm i dont know about that

but just go give them a visit with the microwave n tell them whats happened

maybe they will check it out and change it or send it to the company for repairs

Why not just take t back to the store where you bought it and explain to them that you cannot find the receipt. Show them the details you entered on the warranty card. The box should have a code and price bar which should identify that it was from that store. Worth a try, and Big W are a reputable company and should understand.
