  1. Well, we trained him, and armed the resistence forces remember?

We spent more training the muslims to go all jihad against the russians much more than our fbi personell is paid.

Its all a big joke. And we are stuck with the bill.

  2. Maybe because its the job of the military and CIA

  3. He is embedded deep within the mountains of pakistan in a very remote area. I do believe it is the military that will caputre him, not the FBI.

  4. Bin Laden isn't smarter than the FBI, he is just being protected by a country where the FBI doesn't have control.

  5. Either he is dead of maybe the fact that the world is a big place. Like, very big?

  6. Yea, Bin Laden took up archeology and hasn't stopped cave digging in 7 years.  Boy, he sure showed them!

  7. As others have said, he's already dead... even if he wasn't, a smart guy would have kept his money and done some good with it instead of fighting with the US and getting killed.  Some genius - dude died in a filthy cave like a coward.

  8. He's dead since late 2001 -early 2002.

  9. It's tough to capture a dead man.

  10. He remains comfortably out of their reach.

Under Louis Freeh's tenure, the FBI expanded their international presence by establishing training academies for police forces across Europe and Asia. Where these academies have been set up, they've found a remarkable degree of cooperation and assistance in tracking down international criminals.

If Bin Laden is taking refuge in the mountainous region called Waziristan, he's out of reach by both the FBI and Pakistan's formidable security force, ISI. If Musharraf held more sway - and if his nation was more moderate - we'd probably be able to capture him. However, the Waziris are as untouchable politically as most of the religious right in the U.S. Political reasoning against them doesn't work because the grassroots base will always rally to support them. In the US, this means that the country can only get so far left. In Pakistan, this could mean a coup against Musharraf, who is slated to retire soon anyway.

  11.   I think that keeping him in the caves of Pakistan is possibly better than having his head on a platter.   The man suffers from kidney problems which probably will end his life sooner than H.E. from a U.S spy drone.   Actually, he is more trapped where he is than if he were sitting in Gitmo and politically speaking less of a headache for the U.S.

  12. Because it's not their job...

  13. Good luck finding one particular Arab, in countries full of arabs, who are in no way willing to help you find him.
