Is Blue Hippo A Scam??

I saw a commercial for Blue Hippo, where they claimed that if you could get a free laptop/desktop computer, a digital printer, and a plasma screen tv just if you have a home phone number and something else. I'm not interested in getting something from them, I just want to know if it's a scam.

i wouldn't say its a scam because they've been around a long time.  if it was a scam, they would've been shut down by now.

the catch to it is that you have to pay HUGE interest rates.  i'm not sure the of the exact amount, but it is probably something really ridiculous.  Like 50%apr or higher.
