  1. i think it should be Traverse since two waves are being forwarded at one time. THis means that displaced waves are immediately replaced, whereas the Longitudinal waves move one way which would be impossible because the item receiving the item must set a signal so the other device knows where it is


  2. I think you need to understand the difference between the two waves.

    EM waves need no material medium where as Mechanical waves do.

    So a blue tooth sends waves which require no material medium. Therefore it is Electromagnetic wave and all electromagnetic waves are transverse in nature.

  3. Bluetooth uses low power microwave frequency electromagnetic waves.  All electromagnetic waves are transverse (electric and magnetic field variations are perpendicular to the direction of travel).
