Is Boruc a good role model for young players and supporters ?

well if artur is what makes young people want to practice their faith then what state is it in that it needs a footballer to make it ok...plenty of my family are practicing catholics and not one of them think he is a religious role model..footballing wise he is good enough and at the end of the day i suppose that's all that matters

he can show his faith where he wants..i couldn't care less...and don't think we are all bothered by the blessing incident because we are not...he is deliberately provocative and likes to cause a fuss about nothing..its your right to like and admire him just as its our right to do the exact opposite..the faith thing keeps being brought into it when really it is just a miniscule part of the guys problems with other fans...not just rangers ones...Ferguson and novo get constantly slagged on here..part and parcel of football in general to have a go at opposing players..he's no different....thumbs down all you want..its getting sad now...

when he blesses himself my daughter thinks it is good as she then feels ok to do it in public too...

she is too young to understand the supposed 1916 shirt thing...

the T shirt she liked obv ...she attends mass etc..does not understand why someone would hate anyone who shares her religion

if he gives my daughter the faith she needs to go forward and be proud to be a catholic then why not?

i agree with bluebell.  boruc might be an excellent goalkeeper and a nice guy but sometimes he acts like an erse.  then again, the same has been said of me (minus the goalkeeper bit).  religion has nothing to do with it.

unless the pope's a catholic.

compared to ,bob malcolm,alan hutton, donald findlay,cousin the head butter,all have made mistakes in the past and are not subject to the same paranoia as boruc is,as a goalkeeper ,for his skills yes,as for his sometimes questionable antics no.

Yes, the same as Neil Lennon ... they have to endure abuse from every unwashed proddy in this sectarian run country .... and smile for 90 minutes .... Aye Right!..  for it's a grand old team to play for..  and it's a grand old team to see..

I have always found him to be a extremely nice and pleasant guy.  Sure, he has done some really silly things but, so has many players.  Not enough is said about the good  things he does for the many charities etc.  

I like both players and i can assure you there is nothing misguided about me. However, you are entitled to your opinion but, it is only that..... your opinion.
