I had to learn the hard way.  Bose has done a great job of convincing the world you get great sound from their speakers.  Those cubes really suck!!!  The highs aren't crisp at all.  Very dull sounding speakers.  Stay away.  Then you also have the problem with connectivity with other components as well.  Stay away from Bose!!!!

  3. Bose are basically high priced mediocrity. In my view any Bose system can be beaten hands down by many competitor systems for a fraction the price.

    The big problem is the lack of midrange and cheap speaker materials, and the lack of advanced connectivity on the electronics.
