Is Boxing Dead?? Angelo Dundee Speaks out!?

hi guys....what do you think....is boxing dead? dying? or is it in good shape? Dundee spoke out last week....

Dundee has his thoughts but I personally think 2008 has been a great year so far. Your thoughts???

exactly there has been some incredible fights so far this year proving why boxing is far superior to mma and i believe the sport is far from dead

For along time since Iorn Mike,  Boxing has been on the back burner and not many people cared about boxers and if they were undefeated almost evrybody was, but boxing is coming back partley through the fights of Pavlik v Taylor and osacar v Mayweather                      Long live Boxing

there have been lots of great fights this year and there will always continue to be great fights. boxing will always have a niche audience no matter what. Just because boxing as a business grows and shrinks just like any other business does not mean it is dead or dying. all businesses fluctuate

Angelo is a living legend and you have to respect his contributions to boxing.  He worked with some of the best.  I will check out his book, and see what he has to say.  In case he didn't notice, it's not just "fight fans" that are a dying breed, it's America across the board, the whole country is deteriorating.  By the time the globalists are done, there won't be any decent paying jobs in the U.S.  I wish I had an answer for it, but it's out of our hands.

So far it has been a great year for boxing, and we still have several huge fights coming up, the year isn't even close to  over and already it's been great.  It appears to the getting better not worse, but like all things it ebbs and flows.  Boxing is definitely on the upswing right now.  Even the heavyweights took a step in the right direction and unified two of the meaningless belts in an attempt to find a legitimate champion.  Things are looking up.
