  1. Yes, Broxton is still the closer. Won't be for too much longer though, Saito should be coming back in the next week or so. I can't wait, we'll have that bullpen depth again.

  2. Ziegler is the the closer for the A's

    Broxton is the Dodgers closer

  3. Ziegler is definitely still the A's closer having displaced Huston Street from the role.  He notched his 6th save this past week, if only the A's needed saves more often...

I can't speak to whether Broxton will continue in the role, but he is the last Dodger to earn a save.

  4. Ziegler has been thriving in his new role as the Athletics closer (although he doesn't get that many chances), so he will probably stay there permantely till either a. Huston starts doing well or b. Ziegler starts blowing saves left and right. I don't think Broxton will stay as the closer for the Dodgers, as Saito was pretty succesful in that role.

  5. Yes and Yes.

Ziegler got the role after Street started blowing saves, loading bases, and not doing very well. Ziegler has been doing good, but giving up runs and loading bases. I think Street may get the role back because he's doing good right now =]

Broxton is the closer because their closer is hurt.

  6. Yes, to both.
