it's like watching Jason Schmitt all over again. I bet he is doing a Macho thing and lying about it.

He's back on the DL. At least he's not like Jason Schmidt, always on the DL. 3 year contract, 2 wasted. We don't even know what'll happen next season with him.

It seems like he is his fast ball was in the High 80's low 90's and got roughed up tonight.

no penny is not injured he just lost his rhythm when he was in the DL.

It looks like he might have come off the DL too soon. A couple more minor league starts might have done him some good. His pitches are slow compared to what he used to throw.

The guy is a competitor.  Of course he will try and cover up the pain.  The fact is he came off the DL way too soon. (Only my opinion).  I guess the best way to put it is that when we hurt, whether it be in the arm, leg, or wherever, we have a tendency to over compensate.  We change our stride when walking or throw the ball differently when we throw.  Think about it, many an athlete has destroy their own careers by being macho.
