  1. I've always thought NewZealand cricketers have been under-rated. They have some of the best palyers in the world & McCullum is one of them..

  2. An innings like this was bound to come out of brendon McCullum he has such a crazy confedence in what he can do

I told you he would have an impact monti

  3. No the concept is youn know that he is not playing with world class players and that too he is playing (Dummy) 20-20.So there is no effect on it.

  4. He was just amazing today.

  5. Yes, I think so... although the West Indies are also good.

  6. yup

  7. 13 sixes!!!

    McCallum was great today

  8. Congrats to get entertained. IPL is all about getting entertained. About your question, It was just his day. To be the most electrifying batsman in world one has to perform consistently like this. Same could have been said about Herschelle Gibbs year ago who scored 175 off 111 balls against Australia to chase that mammoth 434 total. But what after that? He's not even in his national team now! I know your excited today but still you shouldn't ask such stupid question.

  9. HI

No Micheal Hussey " Mr.Cricket" Is cool

    Cheers

  10. ya i think he is by a little

  11. It was an amazing and unbelievable knock by Brendon

McCullum.   He had earlier shown the glimpses of what he is capable of with the bat.  With today'sknock, he not only creazted arecord of most sixes in an innings in T20 match, but also the record for most sixes in T 20 matches with a tally of 25 sixes.

    Hats off to him.

  12. No. He can smack a ball, that is all. Let him show his stuff in a real match.

  13. Yeah KIWIS are always better players...you got to agree they can change the game.. Real Match Winners.

  14. Marvelous....  highest runs ever in 20 20 game, it was very entertaining...

  15. smashing display by Brendon , IPL seems to have set off on the right foot

  16. i don't think so! this was just the 1st time he played such a gr8 innings so he still is not the best. if he performs like this continuously then may be we can think of calling him the most electrifying batsman in world cricket

  17. Yes

Because unlike the others (Gayle, Hayden, Pietersen) McCullum just KEEPS on producing knock after knock of total genius.

  18. Right now after watching against Eng and todays match against

RC, I would say that he is the most dangerous player. There are

very few players who can bat like him, Yuvraj, Dhoni, Southee,

Gayle, Jayasuriya, Sachin, Hayden and Gilchrist. Among these

the ones who perform consistently is more dangerous than an

one-off innings. I hope to follow him closely and he can deliver.

    Opponents watch out for him.

What an innings he played even though he played against my

favorite team, RC. I still admire him for the skills and how soon

he can adjust and yet play the ball. A wonderful innings and

money well spent. There was no bowler in the world today

that would have stopped him. Even Steyn and Bracken are

in RC( both not playing today or ever this year), I would not

think they would stopped this run glut.

Thanks for the wonderful entertainment from Brandon.

  19. May its very hard to say but ya its no surprise that he is on the world's top ranking. There are many more players.I am sorry but I don't wanna list there names.

  20. It was amazing. This is the game by, of, for the youngsters and no matter how hard people try to portray Sachin, Rahul Dravid, Laxman, Kallis and the oldie brigade as true heroes, in their hearts they know that people like McCullum, Yuvraj, Mike Hussey, (maybe Dhoni) rule the roost.

Fantastic work. I hope IPL saves us from some embarrassment next time round by banning these oldies from playing T20.

  21. just Amazing innings.......

  22. ;) of course he rocked the stadium...cheers!!!

  23. It seems people have only seen his one innings in the 20/20, those of us from New Zealand were not surprised at all. The 5 match ODI series v England  he averaged 65 with a strike rate around 100, between that and the test series he played in the domestic 50 over final and scored 170 of 108 balls. And daniel above is right, 20/20 is a young mans game and favours those who can hit across the line and play unusual shots.

  24. u forget tendulker,yuvraj ,dhoni u will see in I P L ALSO

  25. RIGHT NOW?.?.?. OHhhhhhhhhh h hh h h h ... YEAAAaAAaaaAA...

  26. top most electrifying batsman in the world cricket ... he is the golden gift for cricket N his team

  27. on my side i say that its was his day to achieve a great victory for him team and if he continues tha same batting style an form he ill lead the world in batting .......

  28. No he is not. He played a great innings but every batsmen has there good and bad days. He had a good day. I have to say i reckon he would struggle to do the same again

    Edit:

The one who thumbed me down obviously admires Mccullem a bit too much, a bit touchy feely are we?

  29. It was a superb innings (and money well spent by KR!) and has further highlighted just how talented Brendon McCullum really is. His game is suited for Twenty20 with his hard and powerful hitting, he's just a joy to watch, and will not only further cement his standing in world cricket but will make the tournament more exiting for the fans to watch.
