Ashton is again showing he is the BOSS!Wilko is gr8 but even the gr8 have bad days there's 15 players out there not one ,but its cool to drop wilko for 1 game  I'm praying hes not gonna get the boot full time from England .Its always wilko that Carry's the team and gets the c**p .

Hate to say it but i think ashton was right to drop him i think alot of the squad need to be dropped especially after the last game.

Another player for me whos game need to be looked at is the SO CALLED VOLCANO he has not adapted to the game at all,i expected big things from him but he has failed to do anything at all.

Ashton is the one that needs to go. Do you really think Wilkinson actually chose to just kick aimlessly down field? Ashton is a bad coach who is forcing wilkinson to play differently and it's not working for him.

Jonny Wilkinson is a legend. People give him way too much stick. He plays one awful game and everyone is saying that he's useless and should be dropped. He's been used as a scapegoat for every bad performance by England. He played no worse than any other England player on Saturday. Ashton might as well drop the whole squad. Wilkinson is no where near past his best. But Ashton needs to go.

Ashtons definitely wrong. JW is an important member of the England squad for obvious reasons and without him i feel points will be lost. i know last weeks performance was a tad poor especially when he came to kicking out of hand, but everyone has their off days. In the meantime COME ON YOU WELSH!!!!!!!

Ireland are hurting, and I don't think this is the game to put Cipriani in to start. Personally I would have had Danny on the bench, started with JonnyW, and taken it from there. Jonny is ABSOLUTE class (Myself as a Welshman that is some praise) ;-) & I would start with Jonny.

So I guess my answr to your question is NO, I don't think he is right.

terrible decision from ashton....

wilkinson is a quality fly half

cipriani is not match for o'gara just look at the wasps vs munster match in the heineken cup

but judging how both teams are in poor form at the moment i expect it to be a game with low quality but high excitement

both nations trying to salvage something from a terrible 6 nations

England showed at the World Cup how rugby games can be won boringly. But do players/supporters want to play those tactics week-in week-out. I doubt it.

England have to take a quantum leap in the way they approach the game if they don't want to have the same effect as sleeping pills.

Changing of the Guard is essential. They should have the talent ... they have many more players to pick from than any other team.

Yup, I have always said players should be picked on form not reputation. Jonny has been poor lately, we cant win the tournament, why not give Cipriani his chance?
