  1. It is more expensive in Brighton and the surrounding areas compared to Crawley. I tend to agree with you, there is little going on in Crawley compared to Brighton.

Are you looking to rent a flat? The average price in Brighton and HOve for a good size one bed flat is around £600p/m, though i would personally look to house share and there are lots of ads in the papers and also on Gumtree website.

Yes there is a good g*y scene as there is a straight scene. They are in different parts of the town as such, though there are many mixed bars and clubs that to be honest it doesn't matter what sexuality you are you are guarenteed to have a good night out in the city.

There are some great pubs in Brighton and Hove and they say that there is a different pub to visit every day of the year in the city, though some i would stay away from as very dingy.

There is always something to see and do in Brighton no matter what your into.

I live in the city and have also worked in Crawley, so i can say that as someone who is in their 20's there is so much more to do and see in Brighton and Hove.

Horsham is a lovely place to live, though it isn't cheap either.
