Is Brisbane Nice? And is being an electrician in australia a good job?

hi, I'm most certain me and my family will be moving to australia within the next 8 months. I just wanted to ask is brisbane nice? my dad will be going over to work in brisbane for 6months before obtaining a residents visa but i just wanted to know before hand and from other peoples point of view how nice brisbane is? And is being an electrician a good job in australia?

Hi there.

I moved to Brisbane in January and find it to be a lovely city. It is much quieter than Melbourne or Sydney, and there is no beach but winters are warmer and it still has a town feel. My husband is an electrician from Ireland and the money he earns in Australia is more than what he was earning back home. Being an electrician pays quite well here, as do all trades at the moment.
