Is Bristol, England a good city to find film and television work in?

Thinking about finding work in London, UK, but it's just so expensive. Moving from Toronto, Canada. Bristol looks great, but I'm wondering if it's too small.

I think it is.  The BBC and HTV both do a lot of filming there.   Holby City is made there.   Deal or No Deal.   And lots more I can`t think of right now.
