This is a scam- They are either after 'an administration fee, or your personal details, or both.

There is an epidemic of this stuff at the moment. This question is asked several times a day here (about various different 'lotteries (scam artists)) and sadly, the answer is always the same.

If you don't know of the lottery- it doesn't exist.

If you didn't buy a ticket, you couldn't have won.

NOBODY GIVES AWAY FREE MONEY TO RANDOM PEOPLE. NOBODY!

It is a con, do not answer emails and definitely do not give any details to the site. There is a list of spoof sites on the net if you do a google search. The site that sent you the message will be listed there. Like the saying " if something looks too good to be true it probably isn't".  Good luck.

The post code is proper to what was called Girobank, now owned by the Allaince and Leicester Bank.

I personally have never heard of a British Global Lottery. You don't indicate where you are. I'd assume it was a scam if I were you. Be very cautious

British global lottery is 100% fake bcos i am also got the same mail i am winner around 1 million pounds so they are given to me some courier address and parcel address so i contacted to that courier in UK through mail accounts officer

so he mailed to me immediately that one is false so don't send any money to them

i think now u r cleared every thing 100%

If you receive a notice telling you that you have won a prize in any lottery draw that you did NOT enter then this is a scam. You should delete these emails upon receipt. G1R 0AA is a Glaswegian postal code and this would put this well within the ambit of the Gaming and Lotteries Act and the said commission that deal with these lotteries. It is very doubtful that this lottery exists and is just a scam to get your personal details including bank details.

I live in the UK and have NEVER heard of this lottery. The only National Lottery within the UK is the Lotto, run by the National Lottery which is franchised to Camelot for the next few years.
