The U.S. did not instigate the Georgia/Russia conflict. Why would they? They new Georgia was no match for Russia, and you saw how unorganized and bewildered as to what to do the Bush administration was. You would think that if they instigated it, they would have been able to  respond a little more coherently. Are you basing your opinion simply off of Russian statements and claims, or actual evidence? These are typical ultra left unsubstantiated claims.
