C.C. has been lights out since he has come to the Brewers and is making people look silly since joining the NL. Right now do you think he is the best there is?

  1. CC Sabathia is the best pitcher in baseball right now. He is 4-0 with the Brewers. He also has a homerun or two. I think he will lead the Brewers to the playoffs. They will win the wild card. CC Sabathia is unreal. Hes pitching too well.

  2. C.C. Sabathia is on fire 4 and 0 so far in 4 games only allowed 3 hits yesterday hes lights out know for the brewers the second best pitcher know u have to say its mussina

who ever thaught hed be 13 and 3

he might end up 18-20 wins this season he also is light out but sabathia is more hotter know

barley any hits so many K's and 4 wins in 4 games with brewers

    ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. baseball is boring.

  4. right now yes and right next to him is rich harden

  5. Right now he is & the Brewers have gained ground on the Cubs & just might overtake the lead in NL Central by next week, if not sooner

  6. yes he is he is 3-0 in his last 3 games with a 1.00era and 3cg...granted he is in the NL but still that is pretty good...i wish he could've done that in cleveland this year and last year in the playoffs

  7. ^^^^^

does johan have 4 wins in his last 4 starts, a 1.5 era and 3 complete game 2 of those being shutouts??? as a cards fan watching the game last night he was absolutely filthy.  making pujols look like an idiot 3 times is not an easy thing to do

  8. I guess you can say he is the best pitcher if you are counting the last 33 innings pitched. He has not been the best if you you go back any further. this year he is 10 & 8. That is a lot of money for just over even.

  9. I think that Cliff Lee is the best pitcher right now, and not just because I am an Indians fan. I also really like C.C. and am sorry to see him go.

Lee has the second best ERA of 2.29 behind Justin Duchscherer of Oakland with a 1.87 ERA.

But Lee has pitched in more innings and has had more strikeouts, although C.C. leads in strikeouts.

He also has the most wins with 13 in 19 games, few runs and hits compared to the rest of the league.

Those to me, if I were managing a team would be very important to me.

  10. Yes i think he is. He has a 1.38 era and 4-0 with 3 straight complete games since joining the crew

  11. He has been the best in the MLB. Thanks Brew Crew for taking CC. He killed Detroit.

  12. I wouldn't go that far but he's doing awesome with the Brewers.

  13. at the moment, yes. but overall rich harding and carlos zambrano are better

  14. I would say YES and he is SUCH a GREAT pitcher

But the second would be Edinson Volquez

  15. Srry isnt it CC Sabathia... j/k had to say it

yea he is 4-0 since goin rto milwuakee. Cleveland was holding him back

  16. Oh yeah !!!  He and the Breewers are kicking @ss !!!!!

  17. If you asked this question two months ago, it'd be no. Sabathia is having a great stretch right now. Seemingly he'd be more of a streaky pitcher than anything else. He certain wasn't himself the first 2 months of the season. Brandon Webb, Roy Halladay, or Dice-K would be my choices.

  18. Right now he is the most dominant pitcher in baseball.  In 4 games, he has 3 CG since joining the Brewers which ties him for most CG in the NL with his teammate, Bush.

  19. depends on your deifintion of right now.

    over the last month?

    yeah, he's the best pitcher.

if i get to pick one starter for the remainder of this season?

he's up there. i would put him in conversation with tim lincecum, dan haren, and johan santana. and if i had to take one, it'd be C.C.

and before i get blasted for saying johan santana like the last guy that did, the only thing he hasn't done this season is win, every other statistical category he's amoung the leaders. he may be the unluckiest pitcher in baseball right now.

here are some lines in games the mets lost with him out there:

    8ip 8h 2er  0bb 4k

    8ip 6h 2er  0bb 6k

    7ip 7h 1er (5r) 2bb 4k (L)

    7ip 3h 0er 3bb 10k

    6ip 7h 1er (2r) 1bb 5k (L)

    6ip 6h 1er 4bb 8k

    7ip 7h 1er 0bb 3k (L)

    7 starts, 49ip, 1.47era, 1.102 whip, 40k

    ...and he's 0-3. the team's 0-7.

if we're gonna realize that cleveland wasn't the right place for C.C., be fair and realize that, at least right now, new york isn't the place for johan either. i'd take him second after C.C.

  20. yes

  21. He is the best pitcher in baseball right now. he could have won the AL or NL Cy Young but he would have to get close to 20 wins. Which is possible. He is going to set pesonal best in more than a few catagories and help the Brew Crew through the playoffs.

  22. He is tough ill give him that.   My cardinals looked dumb founded against him.  Right now he is the best I think.

Atleast he is only with the Brewers for this year, hopefully they cant afford him and the Cardinals get him next year. lol

  23. I would say yes.. he is on fire right now...
