Is CIMA CBA equivalent to a degree?

Isn't CBA just the first stage of CIMA? First stage of CIMA is like A Levels. When you finish the second stage it kinda like undergrad and they say top cima is like masters.

But CIMA on the whole is a PROFESSIONAL course, not ACADEMIC. Academic degrees ffrom universities are harder, more rigourous, critical and get the student to think for themselves rather than just study the course book and regurgitate that onto the exam paper.
