Is California Really going to sink?

Is the San Andreas Fault really going to sink California? And if it is then what prediction do they have for when it will happen?

It may and it may not.

It just depends on how much more the fault moves and how much more weight (i.e buildings, roads etc.) is put on it.

It has not sank in the 50 years that I have been hearing that it was.

but then who know what the future holds.

other wise we would all be lottery winners.

With time it should at least break away from the mainland but by that time Hawaii will have completely disappeared and our descendants will probably be living on the moon.

Because of all the earthquakes california is going to break away from the USA, im not sure if its gonna sink tho
