Why do people outside of Ireland call it Southern Ireland. It is actually EIRE or THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND. I live in Donegal (NORTHWEST OF IRELAND) orginally from Cork (SOUTH OF IRELAND) and you can get Calor Gas anywhere from Cork to Donegal.

What is it with you guys and "Southern Ireland" there is no such place. It is the Republic of Ireland. Of course Calor gas is available (widely) there. We also have electricity, tv, buses, cars, trains, banks, restaurants, etc etc!!!!

There is no such country as 'Southern Ireland'.

If you mean the Republic of Ireland (or simply 'Ireland' according to the Constitution), yes, we have Calor Gas.
