  1. I Agree With Les Calzaghe Not In Top 10

    Sixtus and Chris Guzman Suck

  2. I Agree with Harold's Calzaghe opinion, but not with his commercial.

Calzaghe is in the top ten on my list, but needs to log a few wins over prime young fighters to rise any higher.  A victory over Roy Jones Jr. will not be enough, Jones is considered a shot fighter by most serious pundits, and adding another aging past his prime hall of famer to the resume of Calzghe near the end of his own career will not enhance his historical legacy that much more.  I could be wrong, media PR being what it is, inferior fighters are sometimes over rated, the fiction worked with some Tyson fans.  Calzaghe fans may crave legitimacy for Joe more than he and Warren do, so there will always be the argument.  But that's what makes these sites fun.

For now, the little guys still have a serious lead on the rest of boxing and at least Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto and even Marquez have the leg up on Joe.

  3. i think hes at number 2 now i think manny is on the slide now so i put joe above him but still behind floyd mayweather my top five would be

    mayweather

    calzaghe

    cotto

    pacquiao

    marquez

  4. No. There's not doubt he is good but the boxers he beat other than Hopkins and Kessler were B level fighters. Such as Manfredo,Bika, and Lacy who was overrated. I mean Manfredo and the other contenders have tried but couldn't match up to the higher level fighters(such as Gomez,Banks, etc.) And Manfredo and Lacy had a draw in a boring fight. Calzaghe looked good against Kessler but the Hopkins fight was not good in my eyes. If he is able to beat other fighters like Jones,Pavlik,Dawson then yes maybe.

    I have it:

    1. Mayweather

    2. Pacquiao

    3. Cotto

    4. Calzaghe

    5. Klitchko

    6. Marquez

    7. Pavlik and on

  5. cuz he beat a 43 year old racist? not really i wish cuz i hate floyd mayweather. calzaghe should fight more top americans, earn smore respect. i like him tho.

  6. No, no he is not.  Floyd, Pac, Cotto, Pavlik, Margarito, and others are all better, both in ability and quality of opposition.

  7. No way.  After the showing he had last weekend against a 43 year old Bernard Hopkins, who knocked him down in Round 1 and almost again mid-fight?  He escaped with a win, but the slapping and pawing flurries, wide punches, "loading up" on his punches, lack of defense make me very skeptical that Calzaghe should be seriously considered in a conversation about one of the best p4p fighters in the world.  He has a lot to prove in the US still in my view.

  8. hecky nall.....I would list him 3 or 4

    Mayweather

    Cotto

    Pac Man

    Calzaghe

    Klischtko

  9. No, he isn't. . .but he's definitely top ten. . . possibly top five.  Floyd, Manny Pac, Pavlik. . . .yeah, he belongs with these guys.

  10. NO!!!  he still has to fight more people to prove that because he has fought most of his fights in europe... he has to go through all the great fighters in his division, which there are a lot.. dawson, pavlik, jones, and etc... but as long as he keeps winning, he will be the great calzaghe of this era...
