Is Camber well area in london a safe area?

because i will move to live near Denmark hill

My friend lives in the area and it's quite nice.  

Denmark Hill Station is connected to both London Bridge and Victoria Stations.  You'll be about ten minutes by bus from Brixton and there are some quite nice shops and restaurants in the area.  There are also buses to Elephant & Castle, Euston & King's Cross.

If you take the same precautions you would anywhere else, you should be fine.

I have actually been there and I would say it is safe enough to live but there is crime everywhere
