  1. You must be having a laugh, eh?  Even if she could be Queen, the time of powerful monarchs is gone.  They are naught but figureheads.

  2. Camilla will never be a Queen Consort. It has already been decided that if Charles ascends the Throne and it is touch and go if he will outlive The Queen, His wife will become The Princess Consort. End of.

  3. "...She cannot technically ever be Queen. "

Of course she can. The wife of the King is always the Queen. the wife of Edward VII was Queen Alexandra; the wife of George V was Queen Mary; the wife of George VI was Queen Elizabeth (later given the title Queen Mother when her daughter became Queen).

The wife of every English/British King has had the title "Queen" including all six of Henry VIII's wives. Camilla will be Queen when Charles becomes King. That's the way it goes.

  4. Don't know about greatest, but she may well be queen.

And all you people talking about who deserves to be King or Queen, you really don't get it, do you?

It's a hereditary monarchy.  We don't vote for them. The next in line gets it, good, bad, deserving or undeserving.

If you want a say in who is our head of state, then let's abolish the whole thing and have an elected president. Otherwise, just shut up and accept who you're given "by divine right".

  5. I know you have to be Joking, but...She cannot technically ever be Queen. I believe at most her title would be Queen Consort or something like that.

  6. I don't know about greatest, but definitely most controversial because of all that stuff re: how she got there.  People are not likely to forget she hovered over Charles and Diana's marriage like a vulture. If Charles had been any kind of a man, he should've married Camilla in the first place and not ruined poor Princess Diana's life like he did!

As far as I'm concerned neither Charles nor Camilla deserve to be king and queen. It just should pass down to Prince William and whomever he marries. Better still, get rid of the monarchy altogether. It's an anachronism anyway.

  7. what she did with Charles when Diane was around takes two and as DI said there's three in this marriage and if she is consort i couldn't care less my mind is on seeing this country back to normal

  8. No she split up two marriages, and harmed 4 children, she will never be accepted by the people and it is about time

    she got over it'

Let them live in the outer hebrides or somewhere, who cares about either of these two I dont. I think they are disgusting.

  9. Well at least then it will give Australia incentive to become a republic.

  10. Queen? - Doubtful.

    Greatest? - Impossible

  11. I don't think Camilla should be Queen but then I don't think Charles should be King either.  He is weak.

The throne should go directly to William.

  12. She would certainly be more honest and genuinely caring than the Prince of Wales' first wife.

  13. I very much doubt it. Since she & Charles are getting on in years already & the Queen is still in excellent health, there is a chance that she will never be Queen. Charles may die before his mother. Who knows???

  14. hahahahahahah heheheheheh hahahahahah.

    Next!!!!!!

  15. What planet are you from - of course not.

  16. No she is not. what a silly question.

  17. NO NO NO she shouldnt even be Queen even though they are trying to con us into accepting her. We the British Public will not forget  her past.

  18. That is impossible to say, since she will be Queen Consort at the very most. In any case, she will not rule, so the question is superfluous.

  19. She'll never be queen ...I doubt prince Charles will be ....he does not seem to crazy for the title I think his son will be king first

  20. God forbid!!!!!!!

  21. You know this question is going to cause trouble.  I hope she is never queen.  Can't stand the woman, or Charles

  22. Camilla isn't destined to become a queen. She can't become one anyways.

  23. If we are lucky, Charles will do the sensible thing and abdicate in favour of his son !

Or die before Liz. (Not that I have anything against Chuck as a person.)

  24. Christ on a stick, let's hope not!!!

  25. The answer to that question will not be known until after she actually takes the role

  26. She's not destined to be Queen at all. When Charles takes to the throne she becomes the King's Consort.

  27. No. The royal family are not great in any sense of the word. Period.

  28. The days of Queens being great are long gone.

  29. Why do people think we need a queen at all, I would like to see the royal family disbanded there is absolutely no point to having them, as for Camilla the marriage wrecker, she should be living in France with Charles after the disgraceful way they have behaved over the years, that's what his uncle Edward v111 did with Wallace Simpson.

Don't reply saying that they are good for tourism, the French got rid of their monarchy many years ago and their tourist industry has always flourished, how often do tourists see the Queen.

    Chris.

  30. She is not elligible to become Queen, she will never rule.

  31. Maybe Duchess of Wales or Lady of Balmoral, figuratively speaking, but Queen? I have to agree, "God I hope not!"   One must lead by example and what the h**l has she ever done to set an example except come between a sweet innocent and her prince and literally drove D mad?  It may be that Q E may in fact deny Charles his place because of his marriage but because he did marry a year or more after Di's death now, that may have nothing to do with it.  But since he is directly the next heir to the throne, I think we'll see Charles ascend to the throne, unfortunately.  But then again, he has been groomed all his life to ascend the throne and unfortunately whoever's his better half, no matter who it is, will ascend with him.  I don't however think she will have that many official duties, she'll be more a figurehead, not really regarded as authority on anything.  I mean, I don't think the England commoners are going to welcome someone as her seeing as how she was divorced and did actually break up Ch and Di's marriage.  I certainly don't have any ounce of respect for her.  And I'm pretty sure most of Ch's subjects won't either.  I think it truly is in God's hands as it was in the Renaissance Q E's reign who was a virgin.
