  1. Very distantly.  She is a descendant of Charles II through his illegitimate son and, thus, distantly related to Prince Charles - somewhere along the lines of 10th cousins.

  2. If we all truely originated from Adam & Eve then i guess we are all related.

  3. No. Her grandmother, or great-grandmother, was his grandfather's, or great-grandfather's, mistress though.

  4. no

  5. i don't have a clue and not particularly interested

  6. Yes. Prince Charles of Wales and The Duchness of Cornwall are 9th cousins. The Duchess also has Royalty and Royal connection in her ancestry. This includes:

King Charles II of England from his illegitimate son Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond.

Her great-grandmother, Alice Keppel, who was the last mistress of Edward VII (reigned 1901-1910). Mrs. Keppel's daughter, Sonia, was the Duchess' maternal grandmother.

Arnold van Keppel, 1st Earl of Albemarle, a favourite of William III (r. 1689–1702).

Her great-aunt, Violet Trefusis, the daughter of Mrs. Keppel, who caused a scandal by eloping, in the 1920s, with another woman, fellow writer Vita Sackville-West, when both were married.

Her great-great-grandfather Thomas Cubitt, the Victorian builder.

Through George Keppel, Alice's husband, she is related to Judith Keppel, the first winner of the top prize on the British television game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire? George Keppel's brother is the great-grandfather of Judith Keppel, making them third cousins, with Sir William Coutts Keppel, 7th Earl of Albemarle and his wife as common ancestors

Although Camilla comes from royalty through King Charles II, she has no claim to the British throne, since illegitimiate male heir cannot be crowned.

Camilla is not only 9th cousins to Prince Charles, she is also a distant counsin of Diana, Princess of Wales! Diana was a descendant of King Charles II of England through four illegitimate sons:

Henry Fitzroy, 1st Duke of Grafton, son by Barbara Villiers, 1st Duchess of Cleveland

Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond and Lennox, son by Louise de Kérouaille, 1st Duchess of Portsmouth

Charles Beauclerk, son by Nell Gwyn

James Crofts- Scott, 1st Duke of Monmouth, leader of a famous rebellion, son by Lucy Walter

Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond should be proud that two of his descendants married a future King of England and will possibly be crowned "Queen."

  7. Yes, distantly, they're both descended from James I and VI , Charles through the Hanoverian branch, Camilla from an illegitimate son of Charles II (Charles II was James's Grandson).

However, her royal connections are closer, her great grandmother was his great-great grandfather's mistress. Apparently when they first met (in their early 20s) she told him this and then said "So how about it?"
