Is Canada and Australia very similar?

While the natural worlds of each country (flora, fauna, landscape, etc) are really different, I do find the cultures (at least, the mainstream cultures) really similar. Social life is similar, as are (obviously) language, history, standards of living, and education.

I'm an Aussie living in Canada and i find the people in Canada very similar to Aussies,friendly easy going people.

In terms of weather NO!

In terms of culture and people, yes

Both are the greatest countries in the world !

If I live in Canada, the only place in the world where I would move is Australia

Not really. Australia is an island with a large desert filling up the middle of it, and an agricultural band around the coast. Canada is a vast country, mostly treed and forested, with huge agricultural plains in the middle. Canada also has an enormous supply of water, which Australia, as a mostly desert country, lacks.
