Is Canada switching from analog TV to digital TV like the USA?

According to Industry Canada, Canada's mandated switch to digital TV will not take place until August 31, 2011.  So yes, Canada will be making the switch, but it won't be for two and a half years after the US makes the switch.

Yes.  But  later, so we should be able to learn from the US experience.

Edit - I originally said 6 month later, seems it will be a lot later.  But US channels switch, Feb 09, and I think many Canadian stations plan soon after probably way before the deadline.
