Is Canadian College Football ever televised?

Living in the US, I've seen many CFL games on the CBC station (Vancouver) I get from my local cable station, but I've never seen any college football. I'm wondering if it's televised in Canada like college football is televised here in the US, although it already seems to me that college football is nowhere near as popular in Canada as it is in the US.

  1. It is very rare that it is televised.  It's usually a championship game that gets shown.  I don't remember ever seeing a regular season game on television.  Highlights get shown on the local stations but not the whole game.

College sports (all of them) are not anywhere near as popular in Canada as in the U.S.

  2. To say that CIS football is never televised is wrong. The Score airs OUA games regularly and RDS air QSSF games (in French). Other regional channels also air games from their areas, notably Cogeco, Eastlink, Shaw, and Rogers TV.

But you are right, CIS is just a fraction compared to NCAA. Also, I do not know whether those channels I mentioned are available in the U.S.

  3. Sometimes on TSN. In Quebec, on RDS. It's pretty rare though.
