  1. Yes. It is entirely impossible to overdose on marijuana, and nine times out of ten people do not experience rage while they are high. They do however typically experience munchies,

  2. h**l yeah weed is saffer look at alcohol its addictive and you can get alcohol poisoning. on the other hand look at weed imposible to over dose and its impossible to get a phisical addiction to. then you spend 50$ and buy yourself a nice water bong and you have a practically harmless high.

  3. Wellllll----yes and no.  Big time pot heads like to make you think that smoking is totally harmless.  Not so much the case.  However, they are right that you can't really "OD" on weed persay.  Drunk drivers are a big problem, but you really shouldn't drive under the influence of weed---it slows your reaction time an so forth.  I disagree with people who say that weed isn't addictive.  I know people who haven't gone a day wihout smoking it in years.  They smoke to feel "normal" and  "even" , which sounds at least mentally addictive to me.  I've enjoyed both alcohol and weed in moderation.  When it comes down to it, I do feel that weed is less harmful--but both substances can have a negative effect of your life (ps- after a night of heavy pot smoking, my memory is very hazy; imagine what that can mean in the long term.  Can you say "fried"?)

  4. Cannabis is not safer than alcohol. They are the same.

  5. yes it is you cant over dose on weed, i think its something like 100 lbs of weed to o.d. which is impossible.

  6. I gotta say I have never heard of anyone overdosing from mj, you don't see people out hooking for a j, and i have never heard of a stoner going crazy on the public....lol, but to each there own i guess.......

  7. Marijuana has 60 active chemicals, called cannabinoids, which appear in different ratios in the material depending on the strain, species and growing conditions of the plant. THC is the most active chemical, ranging from 1% to 20% of the overall cannabinoids in a single plant.

Alcohol has one chemical, (Ethenol) which is in a ratio of 0.5 - 80% content mixed in water, which is labeled on the bottle. Ethenol constitutes for 100% of the psychoactive effect in an Alcoholic beverage.

    Now, lets make some camparisons...

Ethenol is "built". The molecule is made in a laboratory to isolate and specify the compounds we want to make us drunk. This is why they can label bottles from 0.5 - 80% in potency. They literally know how much can be put into it to make it a certain way, like adding milk to coffee.

Marijuana, techincally has 60 versions of its own "Ethenol", each varying slightly to change the feeling you get. These are completely up to nature, when the plant grows, as to what the ratio will be. You cannot, and will not, ever be able to test the "potency" of marijuana, or what it will do psychoactively if you ingest it, for a few reasons.

First, there is no machine or test that can istantly find the concentration of molecules, where a scientist can say "If you smoke this, you wil have a slightly light feeling, an Indica type high with slight hunger stimulation and yadda yadda yadda."

They can however, say this: "If you drink 10 shots of 40 proof Vodka, your blood achohol will be *this* much and you will be THIS drunk" ect.

To sum this up, marijuana is not a labeled "potency" like Alcohol. So these tests, to be anything accurate, would have to be performed with the same type of marijuana, from the same field, from the same parent plants, from the same strain, from the same method of ingestion all the way down to the same exact dose. This is impossible to the MAX that they have already done this, seeing as marijuana "tests" have been going on since the 60's, I don't think I need to explain how its impossible that they (the various counties around the world governments) used the same batch for every test for 50 years. That's goofy to assume or even try to justify.

They have however, used the same compound, Acohol for the last 100 years, which is why the studies on Acohol actually make sense, and you don't hear many conflicting statements about Acohol abuse's possibility. Ethenol, One chemical compound, easy to make in a lab and monitor, and is thus easy to find the truth among studies.

Marijuana, has 60 chemical compounds, easy to make but impossible to indentify the ratios in a living, always changing and growing organism - a plant.

To sum it up, these studies don't mean anything, and can't ever mean anything since there are over 5,000 strains of weed, and more in the making, and there is only ONE Alcohol, ONE compound and evendently, ONE ANSWER.

  8. well alcohol causes damage on the inside like to liver etc, where as cannabis causes mental problems. so its much of a muchness.

oh and you can od on anything caffine, panadol etc and they are considered reasonably safe.

  9. Has anybody ever O.D. on weed? No. You can drink one time and die. It can poison your liver. I have been smoking weed for six years and guess what, I've never once come close to dying. Now I've had to have my stomach pumped with charcoal for alcohol poisoning, can't say that about weed though. I don't drink anymore and I only smoke, that's the way I like it.

  10. Marijuana is much safer than alcohol when any legal consequences are removed from the equation.
