Yeah he is half Puerto Rican. I have a pair of Melos (His Jordan brand) and it has a a half Puerto Rican flag and half of another country. I think its Jamaican.

He's half PR....When he gets pulled over he is black....I never knew this untill today....At the same time u have black hispanics. Dave Ortiz, Sammy Sosa, Manny Ramierez. One of Carmelos parents are black american...Im guessing the other is a black puerto rican.

His father died when he was younger. They were from Brooklyn. Melo sounds like a Baltimore person so he has no spanish acsent.
