  1.  People trust unproven narratives like this for the matching justification they are drawn to slaughter scenes, perceive to ghost narratives, and watch gory movies.

    These narratives are classic Internet "urban legends." They were commenced on MySpace by three teenage female children attempting to observe how more acquaintances they could get from it.

    There is NO journal report from any consistent journal instrumentality that files any narrative comparable to the Carmen Winstead / Jessica Smith hoaxes.

    According to the narrative, Carmen/Jessica was mistakenly murdered when her "friends" dropped her down a sewer. Now she will visit a terrible death upon every one who doesn't send her narrative on their MySpace page. Later versions of this narrative were conveyed as more more typical e-mail flexible chain of bonds letters. There's in addition a close to similar variety with a sufferer labelled Jessica Smith.

NO,it isnt,i checked out the pictures they are all fakes after few moments i got an ordinary sewer opening and i also tested it,i stayed up the whole night,nothing happened.carmen winstead isnt real either,i dont belive her name,WHAT PERSON WOULD HAVE THE LAST NAME, "WINSTEAD",?i say its lts all fake

  14. I'm not sure but why would somebody make it up... Part of the story may be true but parts of it may not be real hence it being a myth  there stories you'll never no the answers too... And if you forward the text/email just think like nobody has actually been killed by it

BIG DEAL!!!! and the part about where you die?? ummm... yeah it's not true... so yall shouldn't be scared! also i got this message so many times (via textmessage) and i am still alive...! so basically you are NOT gonna die... and if this did happen don't you think you would have news about it??? OR if this were true don't you think that when you googled her name, the first thing that was popped up was the news story??? so this is seriously not true cuz when i google her name.... all i see is the story of her getting pushed down the sewer and how she will kill you... hence! no real stories of this incident happening! thank you for reading....   20. Well, I'm a researcher and I got prove that Carmen Winstead is true. In Dallas, Tx just a week ago, a kid was @ school found by a sewer with his skin peeled off and you know. There is one thing I need to say though. Don't be scared though. It's all a lengend. (true) It will be alright. Maybe. I don't lie at all. I have a couple of facts to say though.
    1. Carmen Winstead is a real person, and that's a true story.
    2. Those people on Myspace knew Carmen Winstead from school, and they embaressed her at a fire drill by pushing her down a sewer and made a story.
    3.The story they said was a lie. Here is the whole story...
    A couple of years ago, Carmen Winstead got pushed down a sewer by 5 people in her class. She broke her neck on the ladder. When Cramen Winstead got pushed down a sewer she got mad. Now she haunts people. FACT: 2 months later David recieved a text from someone. Those girls that knew Carmen Winstead got killed by her. David didn't send it to 10 people so he took a shower and heard laghter. He rushed to his phone to send it. When he said good night to his mom, 5 hours later his mom woke up because a loud noise and saw that David was not there. She saw him by a sewer with all his skin peeled off. FACT: At a basketball game a kid was waiting for his mom to get out of the restroom. He crawled under the door to see if she was there but she was gone because she recieved a text and never sent it. When he walked out with his dad they saw his mom by a sewer. That's the TRUE story. Just get over it. She might not even come.
