Is Carson Plamer worth my 1st pick this year?

I am in a very competitive 12 team keeper league this year.

I am keeping Marion Barber and TJ Housmanzeda. A buddy of mine in the league thinks I should consider taking Palmer with my first pick to pair him up with TJ. I am 9th pick out of 12 in a serpentine draft. Most of the top RB's are being kept or will be gone by the time my pick comes up. I will be looking at #2 or 3 caliber RB's when it comes to my pick. I am also considering a WR because good chance there will be a top WR there. We are a PPR league 6 receptions gets you 4 points. If I go either of these routes a RB would be my next target in the 2nd round. Do you agree? Thanks for any advice.

I would take Roethlisberger instead.

If there is a top WR or a better QB on the board take them over Palmer. If not then take Palmer with the pick. Just make sure that you are able to get a good RB2 with your 2nd pick. Good luck.

I think your right carson palmer should be your pick it would work out perfectley.
