for my spanish hw, there a question that says, what is an example of a dialect?? she gave us some examples of dialects which are el dialecto cubano, y argentino. so is catalan a dialect, if not, then what is? please write it in spanish.

  1. Catalan is not a dialect of Spanish.  Instead, it is a regional language of Spain, and it's considered a separate romance language--just as different from Spanish as French and Italian.

    Rioplatense is an example of a dialect of Spanish:
