Is Catnip the same as tobacco.?

Every time I have an unlit cigarette in my mouth and my cats in reach, he snags it out of my mouth and starts chewing on it till I grab it back from the little b*****d.

No, catnip is actually from a dried  mint plant, do you smoke menthols, maybe he smells that, or he thinks you are a big b*****d for smoking around him and wants you to stop...so he snags your cig.!? ;P

Don't let the cat chew on the cig. Nicotine is poisonous to cats and dogs. And no, cat nip is an herb and harmless to cats and humans.
