  1. In light of recent personal research, this is a question I am pondering. If I am a follower of Christ ( Christian) why wouldn't I celebrate the same feasts Jesus celebrated? Christmas wasn't one of them. Putting Christ back in Christmas is rather ironic actually, considering that the early Church did not celebrate Christmas. That does not mean that I think nobody should celebrate Christmas. I had the a similar problem with Easter and just had a lovely supper yesterday with my family . I did not go to any religous service. I am hoping Christmas will be as low key this year. I have not decided about the tree and decorations but I would like to have a family get together. My personal philosophy is that we all have to follow our own path.
