Is Chamartin a good district in Madrid? I just got assigned housing there for my study abroad program? party?

I think that's a nice neighborhood, but I'm not sure about the partying...that would be in the centro..You might get better response in the Spain category...more people there who are experts.   Only pokers here most of the time.

Chamartín is on the central northern part of the M-30 ring road.  It's a high-speed expressway (like an interstate).  I'm pretty sure it's fairly suburban.

Here's a map to give you some idea.  the Center of town is to the south west.
