That's my son's name and I had NO idea that it was a gender neutral name.  It seems like a man's name to me.

We do hear "oh, like Chandler Bing?" all the time and it's annoying.  Like they think they're the first person on the planet to make the connection.  Hahahaha so hilarious...

Ultimately, you must decide what constitutes as a "bad" name.  Take into account how others perceive it, how it is received in popular, current culture, its history (how popular was it before?  Is it a traditional name?  Is it a fad?), where you live, your religion, etc.  Chosing a name is a big decision because it can impact a person's whole life!

I would rather not give it to a baby at all, but it does sound better on a boy.

If you must give her the name Chandler, then suit it with a classy/feminine middle name. Just in case she doesn't like her first name.

Well to me no because I know a girl named Chandler. It's a unisex name so it doesn't really matter. It's just like Camrann, Avery, Jamie and so on. One name I would say beautiful for a girl, horrible for a guy: Leslie.

Well, I wouldnt say bad, It's just it will suit a boy a bit more. I mean as pointed out before it does remind of Chandler Bing from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. But if you're looking for a name for a girl then I would say Pheobe. It's rare and fresh.
